Birth Philosophy
Since watching the birth of my nephews and niece over a decade ago, I have been fascinated with pregnancy and birth. When I myself became a Mom in 2014, I knew that providing labor support was something I had to do. I'm passionate about educating women and families so that they can make informed decisions that they are confident in. Going through labor and birth is life changing, and every woman should feel empowered, supported, comfortable, and confident. My role as a birth doula is to hold that space for my clients.
About me
As a Southern California native, I enjoy all things out of doors, especially with my family. My Husband and I live in Orange County with our four children. Being a Mom is both my greatest joy, and the hardest thing I've ever done. Parenting our children makes me a better person and through all the ups and downs, diapers and first steps, I cherish the journey and strive to continually grow. In my free time (Ha!) you’ll find me reading (let's be honest-probably a parenting or birth book), riding my bike, or cooking up healthy and tasty treats.
I am trained and Certified as a Birth Doula through DONA International, a Certified Lactation Education Counselor, trained through the UC San Diego Lactation Program, and currently a midwifery student at MCU. I am continually growing and learning as a Doula, Educator, and Mom.
